Do I need to book?

You do not need to contact us beforehand. Just come along on any of the event dates                                     

​How much do I pay?

​Your first attendance on Tuesday is free of charge. 
Tuesday attendance fee is £3.00 for non-members and £2.50 for members.
Saturday attendance fee is £8.00 for non-members and £6.00 for members.
Annual membership is £7.00 renewable in January.

How will I learn the dances?

Someone will partner you from the outset.
There will be a caller who always calls a walk-through of the dance before the music is played, so you have time to understand the moves.
During the dance, the caller will remind us of what comes next.
Some people are more experienced than others and we can learn more by swapping partners for each dance.
Tuesdays will sometimes have live music and often recorded music but always with callers for each dance. Saturdays will always have live music with callers for each dance.​
                                     

​Is it a big group and who attends?

 We usually have some 20 to 30 people. Single or couples, no age limits.

​Will there be refreshments?

​Tea, coffee and biscuits are served in the break free of charge. Sometimes we have cake! The break gives time to have a chat with new friends.  We encourage people to bring their own cups, where possible.
